We did the traditional Valentine's Day thing this year. There was the exchange of flowers and chocolate, and lots of smiles and smushy goodness that causes diabetics to need more insulin :) The photo above is a close up of the roses my husband got for me. The Small Human got a plush smiley face flower and some pink candy corn, and Lightening McQueen. He adores candy corn, and is a McQueen fan, so he was pretty happy with his gifts. We had to explain that the candy corn isn't really for dinner. I can see how these things get confusing...
After we exchanged gifts, hubby and I dropped the Small Human off at his Grandmom's and then hubby and I went out for sushi.
